It’s love.

It’s love
you didn’t know that?
No, really that’s the name
of the worm
it spreads its love
milking itself
and leaving behind its slime
within each
and the secretions
begin to sprout
and out of the center
births dozens of more
wiggly things
that plummet to the ground
as the flower shakes itself clean
as the wiggly things plant within the soil
sprouting out new plants
with heart shaped petals
in which others
tare off
and use to heal
the holes in their own hearts.

Thanks for reading.
