I’m prone to bouts of anger, short tempered, the overly sensitive type. Writing is a way to make sense of it all. While art is a way in which I can escape the thoughts that haunt me shutting off conscious thought and allowing my hands to guide me.
Feelings filling
anger is a tingle
that begins to burn
and the thoughts they sting
and my brain allows my lips
to release them
covered in an acidic film
and I feel a sadness
as they are released
knowing the acid lacked truth
and it burns the world
little by little.
