The ashes have fallen.

The ashes have fallen
scattering as they drift about
making their way to the ground
as the one left
slowly snapped
to the pressure
of surviving
falling within it’s final place
before it’s time
the pressure of finding stability
causes restless thoughts
and the restless thoughts
aren’t calmed within a tree pose
and deep breaths
causes the branch to ache
deep within it’s chest
feeling as if it’ll burst into flames
creating more ashes to scatter about.

Thanks for reading.
