a team of specialists gathered.
“Dig in
get within the muddy parts.”
Hands wet
it’s thick
further in
“Is there an answer?”
“No not that one
throw it back in.”
Beep beep goes the machine
silence
“We might have lost another one.
we were close this time
complex questions
takes more than one piece.”
“Are we closer
or are we further away?
Bring them back!
Once they’re dead
their brain goes cold
it’s useless
the answers simply erase
as if they never existed.”
