Thumps in the distance
eyes illuminated
flashes of heart
each one more distraught
a creature born
riddled between two places torn.
When I work on writing a book I often get wrapped up on the ending, and each character and then I’ll go off on other stories before I finish one. I have a difficulty staying focused on one thing at a time. Also I find myself unable to let the thoughts just flow, always controlling the ending before I’m halfway through a story.
I’ve been attempting to use images to inspire thoughts. I can’t always explain the meaning behind the poem or what feelings it provokes inside myself. I often will finish an image and then allow it to inspire random words to help me make sense of the image itself. I do that as a way to help myself allow thoughts to freely weave a story.
Thanks for reading.

I can totally feel you. It is hard for me as well to finish one thing. There is so much going in the head!

Thanks it’s always nice to hear and be reminded that others share the struggle of finishing one thing as well.
