The more we obtain
the more waste we gain.
The fatter our footstep
the more time it takes to prep.
A coffin in this Earth
we are naked at birth.
Yet we are buried within our best
a beautifully laced vest.
Our cheeks blushed, lips lushed
as the family perceives to be crushed.
Gathered around the dead
buried within their head.
Fluttered about in groups
retreating away from the troops.
Sad speeches and poison cocktails
to heal what ails.
As we continue to indulge
fine cuisine until we burst and bulge.
Name brand attire
does it hold up better in fire?
Plastic coated on our nails
unnatural beauty prevails.
Eat and weep
tired yet never cheap.
For why would I invest my time
running a mile to keep me in my prime?
Instead I will suck out the fat
why wouldn’t I rather go through all that?
Thanks for reading.
