if that person isn’t who they care for

When did it become acceptable
to tighten a collar
around their neck
because your eyes don’t see
them cry and plea
your ears are clean
from the debris of their low self esteem
as long as they are an asshole
I mean you have goals
maybe you are accomplished
then why insist on playing within the rubbish
