Whose turn is it you ask?

Living within the daunting task
of sorting through whispers
whose turn is it you ask
it is hers.

Then it is his
he takes the lure
she repeats the answer on the quiz
automatic failure.

Together they check the boxes
share in the secrets
chase away all the foxes
and strengthen each others weakness.

I feel practice is important to maintaining and enhancing any skill. Therefore I’ve been attempting to hold myself accountable and writing/drawing something daily or at least every other day. Sometimes I draw an image to reflect a poem. This time I wrote a poem in reaction to the image itself. Whatever words popped into mind as I stared at the image I wrote down.
