Mask designs…

I’ve been trying to come up with a mask design I could appropriately wear when at work, or generally out in public, that wouldn’t overly draw attention to myself. I don’t really like to stand out. I’ve been wearing mostly plain black masks, although plain suits my fashion sense when it comes to clothes wearing a plain black mask feels boring. Maybe that’s because I’ve kept my work morning routine the same wake up exercise, brush teeth, get dressed whatever, now it’s like oh shit I need to grab my mask. In that moment it’s that sense of damn the world isn’t the same as it was that seems to hit me as I walk out the door. Therefore I felt like I needed something silly or with some sort of pattern to be a little less depressing, the facts behind wearing a mask in itself isn’t exactly uplifting. Yea the mask itself being able to help slow the spread of COVID-19 is great and all, it just really depressing to put it on in the morning as it’s a reminder that everything is not stable. Not that the world ever was, only now unlike piling all our garbage out our doors into a dump we cant ignore it. The COVID-19 reality is very much here and we just have to do our best to live through it. Since I had in mind designs to fit on a mask they’re not all my typical designs, and slightly out of my comfort zone being as they’re not all made of black, white, and grey shades only.

Anyways these are several of the mask designs I came up with…
