Have you ever looked up?

It is a safety
living in homes
inhaling the air
stuffy and filled of artificial life.

The trees are falling
a branch misses me
and I think
something above
must be thanked.

Have you ever looked up?

The clouds are changing
smiling, some are
grinning a hateful glare, others are.

They may not feel
but even they know
it’s endless darkness
vastness that never ends
if there was a power
protecting us
wouldn’t they just be
another lifeform
more advanced?

Yes although
wouldn’t they be bounded
to the facts of science
rather than some never ending being?

Are we just an entertainment
a simulation
to determine
the best emotions to place
within each body
to determine how much
usage of a brain
shall be used
are we just their experiment?

A determination
of how to do better next time?
