HELP. We ask for Help.

We always ask for help
looking up to the clouds
as if there is a world
our eyes cannot see
rather than
having faith in ourselves
and acknowledging
many of our misfortunes
are our own doings.
Other people taking
resources in large quantities
as others are left with less
and if we could
we to would.
If you were given a million dollars
would your house become larger?
We ask for help
we blame those that do not believe
as we stand outside
our eyes gazed up
hearts open
hands out
waiting for a miracle
rather than putting in the time
that’ll amount to change.
