The thoughts are growing
overwhelming their home
causing the home to swell thudding against
the hard casing
that keeps it safe
from the sharpness
of the predators surrounding.
Teeth pointed
properly sharpened
ready and waiting
for the skull to crack open
releasing the prey
that’s been hiding
awaiting its meal.
Ready.
As the skull cracks
the thoughts fully expanded
begin to leak
and as the predators
chow down upon their prey
the poison seeps within them
and they find themselves
dying along with their feast.
