I’m prone to bouts of anger, short tempered, the overly sensitive type. Writing is a way to make sense of it all. While art is a way in which I can escape the thoughts that haunt me shutting off conscious thought and allowing my hands to guide me.
Crack open the cranium
as the audience cheers in the stadium
poke
no longer may you joke
prod
no longer so odd
pick
no longer those feelings may stick
the master of the craft stiches so delicately
following along with the symphony
awakes another prisoner of the crowd
take a bow and all stand proud.
